A man claimed himself Imam Mehdi by standing on the wall of Jannat-ul-Maala

Mentally ill people are sometimes found at public places in KSA where they wander and keep on making rounds aimlessly. Some mentally retarded people keep on sitting on walls of graveyards and start hurting security personnel and vehicles parked in the surrounding. Recently the same incident happened when a man who was standing on the compound wall of Jannat-ul-Maala graveyard started shouting loud. He kept on saying that he is Mahdi (R.A) and has come to complete the prediction of Holy Prophet (PBUH).

The man was claiming to be Mahdi who is going to be the last Imam of Muslim as per indication of Holy Prophet PBUH.[irp] He kept on breaking the peace of sacred graveyard until people tried to stop him. When people asked him to calm down, he started throwing stones on security personnel vehicles parked along the walls of the graveyard. At last security personnel took him in a circle and one of them climbed the wall to get him down. Later the security personnel started investigations regarding the matter.

The acts of a man claiming to be Mahdi were totally against the dignity of graveyard and people felt sorry for his acts. He was later taken to the hospital to have a complete mental check up. The videos and news of that man went viral on social media where people shared their sentiments about the incident. Graveyards are highly sacred places, and no one is allowed to impair secrecy of graveyards. Such acts create restlessness among people. May Allah grant that man with health and mental stability! People should also keep an eye on their surroundings to spot such people to avoid such situations. This is not the first situation which brought mentally ill people on screen, there are so many mentally retarded people wandering here and there in Makkah. Authorities should take practical steps in order to help such people recover from such illness. Proper treatment and care under strict supervision can help these individuals to stay away from disturbing the peace of cities and citizens.

This incident showed something which was not harmful to the life of anyone, still, the man damaged public property (security personnel vehicle). In future, such practice can harm people as well and can increase the crime rate. Deprivation in society in any form leads to discontent and it further creates a disturbance for all citizens.[irp] The visitors of Jannat-ul-Maala shared their concerns about the happening of such incident in a graveyard which has such huge Islamic and historical significance for Muslims. It has graves of members of Bani Hashim (the holy tribe of Makkah), family members of Holy Prophet PBUH, his wives, uncle and other companions.
The government needs to take practical measures in order to treat such mentally ill people well in order to avoid any such situation in future. It can create resentment and discontent among people who have buried their loved ones at the different graveyard. Graveyard and public places should be secured from such unfavorable situations and incidents.

Why do Dogs start Barking (Howling) at the time of Azan ?

Q uestions: Why do dogs cry at the time of Fajr Azan? This is an incident that I’ve noticed very often. A nswer: Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. There are many wonders of Allah in His Creation. Dogs are among His Creatures. It is confirmed in a Hadith that dogs see what human beings cannot see. Abu Dawud reported in his Sunan that Jabir Ibn Abdullah narrated that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said:” If you hear the barking of dogs and the braying of donkeys by night, seek refuge in Allah, as they see what you cannot see”. Albani and others classified this Hadith as authentic. In Sahih Al Jamie’, following the above Hadith is stated: ..’And reduce going out when it is quiet( when everybody is indoors at night time) as Allah diffuses by night what He wishes among His Creation, and lock your doors and mention the Name of Allah on them as ...

The Sons of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had three sons and four daughters. All of his children were born to Hz Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (RA) except one son (Ibrahim), who was born to Hz Maria al-Qibtiyah (RA). In the order of birth sequence, the children of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are as follows: Qasim Hz Zainab (RA) Hz Ruqayyah (RA) Hz Umm Kulthum (RA) Hz Fatima (RA) Abdullah Ibrahim The Sons of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Qasim ibn Muhammad The first son of Allah’s Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), was Qasim from whom he took his kunyah Abu al-Qasim (the Father of Qasim). Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) liked being called Abu al-Qasim, and his Companions would often call him by this name. [1] Narrated Jabi (RA): A man among us begot a boy whom he named al-Qasim. The people said, “We will not call him (i.e. the father) by that Kunyah (Abu al-Qasim) till we ask the Prophet (PBUH) about it. The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Name yourselves by my name, but do not call (yourselves) ...

Here’s What the Quran and Hadees Say on Getting Tattoos on Your Body

Narrated by ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood (may Allah be pleased with him),  “May Allah curse the women who do tattoos and those for whom tattoos are done, those who pluck their eyebrows and those who file their teeth for the purpose of beautification and alter the creation of Allah.” (al-Bukhaari, al-Libaas, 5587; Muslim, al-Libaas, 5538) When it comes to changing physical appearances, it is regarded as a sin in Islam. Hair transplant, nose job and even getting your eyebrows done is forbidden as per the teachings of Quran and Islam. In addition to this, getting your body inked with tattoos is also said to be haram for numerous reasons. Tattooing is the activity of having your skin pierced with a needle filled with a colored dye which is injected in the skin. Most forms of tattooing include a painful procedure as the specific body part is being pierced. Aside from how it changes the way Allah created one, the Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) cursed those who had tattoos: Narra...
