Liverpool star Mohamed Salah Donates £500,000 to Egyptian Children’s Hospital

Egyptian has dug deep to gift Cairo’s 57357 Children’s Hospital 12 million Egyptian pounds for new equipment

MO SALAH has cemented his hero status in Egypt – by donating £500,000 to a children’s hospital.

The Liverpool striker is enjoying an epic season, scoring 32 goals in 38 games.

Salah, 25, recently touched the hearts of his home nation by helping fund a bone marrow transplant for a young boy.

The former Chelsea frontman has now dug deep to gift Cairo’s 57357 Children’s Hospital 12 million Egyptian pounds.

The money, worth just under £500,000, will go towards buying medical equipment used to treat young cancer sufferers.

Mostafa Zamzam, chief trustee of a charity linked to the hospital, revealed Salah’s generous donation on social media.
