Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to offer Friday prayer, address gathering at Makkah Masjid

Hyderabad: President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Hassan Rouhani is arriving in Hyderabad in the evening of 15^th February.

He will address a gathering of Ulema, Intellectuals and leaders on the same evening. He will offer Friday prayer on 16^th February at Makkah Masjid and also address the gathering. The Ambassador of Iran in India, the Consul General of Iran at Hyderabad will accompany him. He had visited Hyderabad earlier also.

It may be mentioned that Dr. Rouhani obtained a doctorate degree in Islamic Shariat from Glasgow Caledonian University, UK. He is an internationally famed scholar of Islamic law.

It is expected that the President of Iran will also visit Qutub Shahi Tombs to pay homage to the former Qutub Shahi Kings.
