UK Muslims Help Grenfell Homeless Survivors

LONDON – The Muslim community in Croydon, South London, has been collecting donations to help families affected by the Grenfell tower fire earlier this year, including aid packages to survive cold weather.
“There were a lot of donations in the summer after the tragedy but none for the winter,” Florent Caillibotte, UK programs’ officer at Al-Khair Foundation told Croydon Guardian.
“Not everyone has been rehoused and there has been less and less support for them in terms of donations.”
The tragedy, in which 53 adults and 18 children died, occurred in June. A lack of warm clothes left the victims, who lost everything in the fire, freezing.
This week, members from the Al-Khair Foundation donated care packages to 30 of the most affected families, who are still living in hotels.
The packages were delivered to the donations center, which was set up immediately after the fire. Of the 250 families dispersed when the tower block became a deadly inferno, only 49 have found permanent homes.
Hanan Miezou, the manager of the donations center, said the donations would be a rare bright spot for the victims who have lost so much.
“They are not in the frame of mind to go out shopping,” she said.
“It is a difficult time of year for them because people are spending it in their homes with their families and these people have no homes and in some cases have no family.
“They are still going through huge hardship and need continued support.”

Tampons Are Haram (Prohibited) In Islam, And This Is The Reason Why

Tampons are the women’s product for the sanitization purposes, but it is labeled Haram in Islam. Many people ask questions why is it haram and where in Quran or Hadith it is prohibited? So This is the answer to their question A tampon is a mass of absorbent material. It is made of cotton. Tampons are used by women in their menstrual cycle or flow. Previously girls used cotton pads in that days but now to be modern they considered to used tampon because you just insert it into the virginal hole, no pad or panties are required. Most of the swimmers used it because their costume is short and wearing underwear with pads is not comfortable. Use of tampon is increasing day by day. And now it becomes the hot topic of discussion that: Is using Tampon is forbidden in Islam or not Firstly, we have to clear that there is no clarification or justification of tampons in Quran and there are no Hadiths related to it. Q uestions: Why do dogs cry at the time of Fajr Azan? This is an incident that I’ve noticed very often. A nswer: Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. There are many wonders of Allah in His Creation. Dogs are among His Creatures. It is confirmed in a Hadith that dogs see what human beings cannot see. Abu Dawud reported in his Sunan that Jabir Ibn Abdullah narrated that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said:” If you hear the barking of dogs and the braying of donkeys by night, seek refuge in Allah, as they see what you cannot see”. Albani and others classified this Hadith as authentic. In Sahih Al Jamie’, following the above Hadith is stated: ..’And reduce going out when it is quiet( when everybody is indoors at night time) as Allah diffuses by night what He wishes among His Creation, and lock your doors and mention the Name of Allah on them as ...
